House Leveling

We Are Your House Leveling Experts in Southern California

Do you have soft spots on your floor? Does it squeak? Do you notice your floor sagging in spots, or have trouble closing door or windows? You may need your home to be leveled. Built Strong performs house leveling by jacking up the house with a hydraulic jack and placing new permanent supports under the sagging area. Rotted or damaged beams and girders may need to be replaced. When the leveling is complete, you will prevent future damage to your home and protect your investment. Built Strong will be sure to leave you level-headed.

Improper structural leveling is especially important and is a significant concern in explicit regions in and surrounding Los Angles and the majority of Southern California. These areas are especially compromised due to the consistent possibility of earthquakes. Structures with severe floor sloping can potentially glide off the foundation entirely.

We construct Helical Piers to correct compromised house floor levels. The Helical Pier method includes using piers rooted underground to a stable and firm bed of soil. These piers are constructed to support uneven flooring by lifting the foundation to its intended location. Helical piers provide many benefits which are more long-term with more lasting stability and better quality than other methods such as Steel Push Piers.

Jacks: Multiple different sized jacks may be used to correct Foundation leveling issues. The jacks are used to lift raised foundations by disconnecting the house from the foundation framing and manually jacking up the house then reattaching the house framing to the foundation. Each jack has a capacity of supporting up to 20 tons or 40,000 pounds.

Dependent Upon the extent of the damage causing leveling issues, we can perform leveling repair projects in approximately 2 weeks dependent upon the total square footage and amount of weight to be lifted.
